A code of corporate governance establishes principles of due corporate practice and organizational structure, which tend to protect the interests of investors (shareholders), but also of other interested parties.
The goal of the code is the establishment of high standards of corporate governance and transparency in the company’s operation, so as to alleviate the path to the capital market for more efficient financing.
